Service Technician Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and pinpoint issues accurately.
• Perform brake repairs, engine diagnostics, transmission repairs, and other complex mechanical work.
• Complete computerized repair orders, documenting services and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and answer questions.
• Collaborate with other team members to efficiently complete tasks and share knowledge.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and new technologies.
• Adhere to manufacturer and dealership guidelines for repairs and quality standards.
• Uphold a customer-focused approach, ensuring satisfaction and building trust.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
